Well, I'm not completely in the dark on why I am terrified: it means that 1) technology is at least becoming more populous than humans and 2) that technology is increasingly become a mediator (read "barrier") between humans. "Robot revolution" comes to mind, but I mean this metaphorically, not literally: that we, as people, are approaching obsolence in the face of technology. Also, I think all this tech will likely be horrible on the environment. (Says the blogger.)
