Welcome to the Thinking Grounds!

The Thinking Grounds has become a mess of the varied things I’ve written: rants, short fiction, academic essays, pseudo-academic journals, poetry, spiritual meditations, anecdotes, photography, reviews, lists, counter-arguments, collections, links, and ramblings. When I first started this blog I imagined it as a sort of swamp, and maybe the maze-like atmosphere of the wetlands is a good metaphor for the wandering thoughts I have here.

I have tried to make the sidebar useful to you by providing as many ways as possible for navigating my blog. From here you can access the archives, sort by theme, or quickly access those posts that I’ve marked as my favourites. Think of them as boardwalks over the marsh, if you can excuse how far I’m stretching this metaphor.
